It was in the opening scene of Tom Cruise’s The Last Sumari.
Let It Snow
On the third day, as we were heading up Mount Aso to see the volcanic crater, it actually started snowing! Real, actual snowflakes started falling which got everyone super excited.
We didn’t get to see the crater due to the icy roads but seeing the snow was totally worth it.
The amazing hot springs at our hotel certainly helped warm us up.
It was by pure luck that we got to see snowfall as it had started raining by midnight the very same day, washing away the snow bit by bit.
