Though my time was horrible, most likely due to all the walking hiking I did, I’m really proud of myself for finishing, especially since I haven’t done a race in a really long time. The euphoria you get when crossing the finish line really makes all the training and suffering powering up those seemingly never ending hills worth it, doesn’t it? Next up is the Taipei543 Neon Run 5k with my lil sis in November and my second half in December. I can’t wait!!!

Congrats beauty! With all those hills I doubt anyone would have been able to run the whole thing. You should be super proud of yourself 🙂

Thank you so much Davida!!! 😀

That sounds brutal! I’ve never done a trail race, and the one time I ran trails I was DYING.
Shawn Tang says
I was dying the whole time, too. Maybe I should stick to road races from now on. 😛

Awesome work! I often feel like I might be ‘running’ slower than people walking up a hill – it is such a snail pace!! Hope you’re recovering well 🙂
Shawn Tang says
Thanks Corinne! I often feel like I run slower than some people walk too. Oh, well. 😛
Brandi says
