We were originally told to bring sleeping bags, but luckily we were provided with cots which were so comfy!
Just another pic from Alnwick, with us in full dance costume. ๐ That performance on the grass at Alnwick Castle was definitely one of my favorites. The dance is called Mongolian Greetings and is set on the wide grassy plains of Mongolia, so the location was quite apt.
Still missing the breakfast buffet @ the Novotel pretty bad.
Also reminds me of the not-so-early morning calls we had in London at the awesome Novotel. In our defense, traveling is supposed to be easy, why should we bother waking up at the crack of dawn?
- Sleazy – Ke$ha, Judas โ Lady Gaga These two songs were part of one of the dance pieces I did with the dance club back in the 10th grade. I still remember listening to the songs and practicing the moves over and over again.

I’m a big big music lover. I make a monthly playlist and each one reminds me of something that was happening in my life then. I like to go back and listen to them ๐
Shawn says
It’s awesome that you make monthly playlists! Must be quite nice to listen to them and relive the moments. I usually just listen to the songs I like on repeat till I get tired of them which takes quite a while, if I get tired of them at all that is. Haha, I should really branch out more when it comes to music.:P

Since I have 4 teenagers, these songs usually remind me of my kids. You look like you travel a lot and are able to do a lot of things. It’s nice to see a person enjoying and embracing life!
Shawn Tang says
That’s really sweet. ๐
Thanks Nicole! Well, I am trying my best to live my life to the fullest and to enjoy every moment of it.

Music truly is the way straight to emotions. I have the music on my phone sorted into types. Fast and loud for when I’m stressed or want to clean the house. Touching for when I need to let it out. And of course The Muppets Christmas for any time of year. Enjoy your SITS Day.
Shawn Tang says
It most certainly is! That sounds like a really good idea, the music on my phone is just a jumble of songs I like. ๐
Thanks Sheila!

I had a boyfriend who loved John Denver music. Now every time I hear a John Denver song I think of him. Nothing bad, just fond memories of a relationship that ran it’s course.
Shawn Tang says
That sounds pretty interesting. ๐ Good thing they’re fond ones instead of bad ones.

Wow! A $50 caricture? LOL You’re right though…music has a way to transport you instantly back to a moment, feeling, emotion connected with it. Great post! Thanks for sharing and Happy SITS Day!
Shawn Tang says
I know right? ๐ That’s one of the reasons why I love listening to music. ๐ Thank you so much Tiffany!
