After we filled our tummies, we headed off to the Tower of London.
ThereΒ was no need to pay an additional entrance fee since we had our London passes, thank goodness. We visited the bloody tower
(to see medieval torture devices)
as well as the white tower, just to name a few.
One of the most satisfying things was that we got to see the crown jewels without waiting in line for a long time.
What happened was that it was nearing the closing time so the originally uber long line to see the crown jewels was way shorter. My dad noticed that the line, albeit a short one, was still moving, so we thought we’d giving getting in line a go. Luckily, the gate guard or keeper something was really nice and the door wasn’t closed until we and a few other people behind us were let in.

Thanks, I’m definitely having a wonderful time. The weather is definitely chillier than that of Taipei, but I still find it pretty comfortable. Hope it stays this way too.

I’m loving it too. So jealous you studied abroad, in Paris no less. Sounds like you had an amazing experience. Being in London for the Olympics must also have been really really exciting. Starting to get green with envy. π Just kidding, sort of. π
