We spent most of our limited time at the Egyptian exhibit and I took many pictures of the descriptive panels, lying to myself that I’ll read them some day. 😛
My fave part was seeing the Rosetta Stone.
It was so exciting to see such an amazing historical artifact. To think that it played an integral part in decoding Egyptian hieroglyphs, I can barely even wrap my head around it.
This poster also gave me quite a laugh. 🙂

The ‘rents bought these tickets while we were still in Alnwick, how awesome are they? <3

I think it’s awesome that you get to spend this time with your parents :). I wouldn’t say I was a huge fan of musicals, but I do like them. I went to se Les Mis in the theater and cried like a stinkin baby the entire time!! It was great! And when I read that they actually sang live, that it wasn’t recordings, while filming I was even more enamored by the film. 🙂

So jealous you got to see it live and I love the movie too. Anne Hathaway’s
rendition of ‘I Dreamed A Dream’ is so powerful and it nearly brought me to tears.

I’m a HUGE figure skating fan too and the music to Les Mis has been used for years! Love it!

I love musicals! I don’t think I could pick a favorite. Does Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog count? The only one I’ve been lucky enough to see on stage (well performed by professionals and not students) is Wicked and it was ah-maz-ing! I wanted to stay and see it again the next day.

I saw wicked a few years ago and it really was so amazing. 🙂
