This was the first race I ever ran and I was quite nervous. When I woke up, it was raining outside so I was considering staying in bed and missing the race. However, my sister wouldn’t have it so we got dressed and headed to the zoo. Luckily, the rain had stopped by the time we got there, and the infectious enthusiasm of the other runners finally caught on. With a heightened sense of excitement, I finished my first race, thanks to the best running buddy every – my sister.
