Last week, I came across something so very awesome *drumroll* theSkimm!!!
Simply put, they go through the news for you and put the important stuff into their daily newsletter. Pure genius! In the past, I didn’t really pay attention to the news, books just hold more appeal, so this is a lifesaver. Of course, I do look to other sources for news. Many news outlets have their own apps and if they don’t, feed readers make it a breeze to check the news right on my phone.
In the spirit of skimming, I thought I’d skim thru my entire life the past few days.
I can’t stop listening to this album! The songs are so lovely, you can really hear the emotion in them. The episode of Glee brought me close to tears, can’t believe Finn Hudson/Cory Monteith is no more.

On Saturday afternoon, I took a yoga class taught by an Indian teacher. It was in English but I could barely understand a word. The faults all mine of course, I should really train myself to have a more discerning ear.

After taking a few weeks off running, I finally got myself to lace up my sneakers and go for a short run yesterday morning. It may have had something to do with the fact that I signed up for a half in December and am determined to do it right this time.
IDEA Inspired Blogger
I was so psyched when I got this e-mail two days ago. Now I’m an IDEA inspired blogger!!!
Westminster Abbey & St. Paul’s Cathedral
This is more like two months ago, but I just realized that I haven’t shared these pics yet. I guess travelling rendered me a bit forgetful.
- Westminster Abbey
- St. Paul’s Cathedral
- If you are willing to make the climb up a tons of stairs, the view is certainly worth it.
Both sites had audio tours at no extra charge which was really nice as you could listen at your own pace. Our trip to London was really too short to take in all the marvelous sites, I cannot wait to go again!
