Marvelous are these peanut butter chocolate chip bars I made following peanut butter runner’s recipe. They are so freakin’ awesome that I had them for breakfast three days in a row. 🙂 I only made a few changes: I used whole wheat flour instead of all purpose flour and used half a cup of sugar instead of one. Still turned out completely great! Everyone loved them and I look forward to making another batch, since the batch I made a few days ago is completely gone.
Marvelous are macarons!!!
My uncle’s family went to France a few weeks ago and had originally bought some treats for us, but due to schedule conflicts we didn’t manage to meet up until this Saturday. What they had originally got for us didn’t have a long shelf life so they had to eat it. So they bought this adorable box of macarons for us instead. I have the best relatives ever.
I’m so in love with macarons but they are very expensive which is why I don’t have them that often. Seriously, you could get a lunchbox for the price of a macaron, and a pretty decent one at that. Anyways, I’d make them myself, but I think they’re way beyond my baking skills. Some day then.
Marvelous is Mindy Kaling’s book “Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? (And Other Concerns) .” I’ve never seen The Office but I really liked The Mindy Project. I get so excited and laugh like crazy every time a promo for The Mindy Project comes up, true story. Mindy is just completely hilarious.
Marvelous is hanging out with friends and family. I’m so grateful get to live with my family and see them every day. It truly is a blessing!
Also, I can’t wait to see our lovely friends from LA. A year really is too long.
Hope everyone is having a marvelous Monday!
